Clinic # 3, April 26th - DESCENDING TECHNIQUES
What goes up must inevitably come down. Although, you would have felt "the burn" in your lungs and legs at the previous Ascending Techniques clinic, it is often easier for many than making the descent. In trail running, descents can often be on loose gravel or very technical, requiring good eyes, quick footwork and a steady focus. We will spend time in this Monday evening clinic beginning to build technique for moving downhill both quickly and safely. Clinic will take place at Nose Hill Park in NW Calgary, and there will be no shortage of hills to descend!
